Page 1a. 24 April 1815. That Elijah Townsend left the following children: Joshua Townsend who is a minor. Elijah Townsend died circa 1812 without a will. His estate settled in 1818.

That David Johnson was indebted to Abisha Davis in the amount of 63 pounds. That David Johnson hath departed this life leaving to his wife an estate. Her name Elizabeth, and the following children. Nancy who intermarried with Esme Taylor. David Johnson. Peggy who intermarried with Stephen Hill. Sally who intermarried with Kendall Collier. Joshua Johnson, infant under the age of 21 years. Elizabeth Johnson, infant under the age of 21 years. 29 April 1816.

Page 36a. 14 Nov. 1817. John H. Rackliffe, Redis H. Rackliffe, James Massey and Charlotte his wife, Kellart Rackliffe heirs of John Rackliffe, deceased. That James Rounds, deceased, did on the 4th of April 1768 by deed conveyed to John Rackliffe, CONCLUSION. That James Rounds died leaving the following children: Samuel, Hampton, Henrietta, Sally, Martha and John Rounds. That Samuel Rounds is dead and left 5 children: James who at present lives in the State of Kentucky, John, Mathais, Henry and Ann who reside in Philadelphia. That Hampton is dead and left 4 children: Molly, Nancy, Thomas and James who live in Worcester County. That Henrietta is living in Philadelphia and Sally died with out issue. That Martha intermarried with W. Caldwell (Caldwell since died) and resides in Philadelphia and John died leaving 2 children who are Esther and Charlotte. Charlotte who has lately intermarried with a Jacob Patterson of Dorchester County.

Page 37a. 13 October 1818. That William Kennett died intestate left at his death, a widow who is yet living and entitled to her dower. His children are Prugron or Presgran (handwriting extremely poor), Susan or Susana, Maria, Nancy, Martin, William and Hetty B. Kennett, all under the age of 21 years. The widow's name is Sarah.

Page 42a. 25 October 1816. That a Tephaniel?Nathaniel? Benson has departed this life the following persons his heirs at law: Nancy Davis, Benjamin Davis, Polly Davis, Stephen Townsend, Esther Townsend, Esther Henderson, Harriett Henderson, Sally Redden, Levin Redden, James Redden, William Redden, Edward Young and Maria Young. That Benson was indebted to Joseph Young in the sum of $399. That Joseph Young was named adm. of Tephaniel Benson. That Joseph Young died. That Sally, Levin, James and William Redden live out of the State of Maryland. Benson's will: my son in law James Redden, my hand mill, my negro man Major free, my son Levin Benson $1, my son in law Joseph Young $80, to my daughter's children, except Polly Brittingham's children, the residue of my estate share and share alike. My son in law Joseph Young EX. 18 Sept 1810w. 9 October 1810p. That Samuel Brittingham of Purnell was the highest bidder.

Page 77a. 21 April 1815. That Joshua Holloway departed this life and his heirs are Hannah who intermarried with John Riley, Nancy who intermarried with Samuel Holloway of full age and Patty, Fanny, Joseph and Ebenezer Holloway under the age of 21 years.

Page 85a. 28 July 1820. William Franklin guardian to Stephen, Maria and Tabitha Franklin. That Thomas Franklin's wife who has since intermarried with Matthew Richards / Richardson (referred to by both names in document). That Thomas Franklin had a daughter Amelia Franklin and sons Francis and Samuel, all minors of Thomas Franklin. That Thomas Franklin was one of the Ex. of John Franklin, Sr. To 1/2 legacies left by John Franklin Sr. to his grandchildren Stephen, Maria and Tabitha. Will of Thomas Franklin, wife Lotty (Charlotte), daughter Amelia A. Franklin, Francis and Samuel. Brother William Franklin. That John Dennis a witness is dead and Peter Roberts has moved to Virginia. That Thomas Franklin died circa 1815.

Page 96a. 7 Nov. 1821. Mary Spence, deceased, died intestate leaving as heirs Betsy W. Bratten wife of George Bratten, Thomas R. Spence, Samuel P., John S., Ara, William P., Irving Spence and Maria S. Gillis or Gillett (handwriting very poor) wife of Joseph Gillis or Gillett. and a heir John L. B. Robbins a minor. Land originally devised by William Purnell to Betty Spence. Mary Spence conveys to James B. Robbins.

100a. 29 April 1822. William Walton died in 1797. Had children Polly, Sally, Hetty, Betsy and William. That Polly, Hetty and Betsy have since died and left the said William Walton and Sally Tilghman formerly Sally Walton.

Page 137a. 22 April 1822. That Stephen White departed this life with a will: He gave to his wife Mary, who has since intermarried with John Carey. Stephen Ennis, Charlotte Whittington, Mary N. H. Whittington, William W. Whittington, Robert H. H. Whittington and John R. R. Whittington heirs of the body of Sally Whittington. Stephen White had a sister Nancy Hudson. He also left to William Mitchell son of Mary Mitchell. John Carey and Mary (the widow) live out of the State of Maryland.

Page 140a. 19 Nov. 1821. That Peter Dashield of Somerset County died intestate having the following children: Robert, Edward, Nancy, John, Isabella, Priscilla and Sarah or Sally Dashield all under age 21 years. Priscilla the widow.

Nancy his widow married David Pennewell? That Jonathan left property in both Worcester County and Accomac County.

That James Duer sold to John Scott with out making conveyances and that Scott sold to Robert J. H. Handy or Hanby and that Robert Dunn and Nancy Dunn adm. of James Dunn.

Page 190a. 2 Nov. 1821. That William Hill at the time of his death left a widow Nancy and the following children: Mary E. C. Hill, John R. Hill, Sophia and Sally all under the age of 21 years.

Page 196a. 14 Aug. 1823. That Mitchell Gray at the time of his death left Mary A. E. Gray, George B. Gray and Sarah C. Gray all minors, and a widow named Sarah. Peter Whaley Ex. of Mitchell Gray.

Page 215a. 10 April 1822. That Peter Parsons died intestate. His children and heirs at law: George S. Parsons, Sally who intermarried with Joshua White, Nancy who intermarried with Joshua Round, William H. Parsons over 21 years and Joseph T. Parsons, Robert H. Parsons, Minos? S. Parsons, Ann Parsons, and Peter R. Parsons all minors. Peter Parsons died before 1819.

Page 223a. 9 Oct. 1822. Levin Derickson or Dereckson had James and John Derickson over 21 years of age. Children of Catherine Derickson deceased daughter of Levin Derickson who intermarried with Tadock Purnell are Sally Purnell and Elizabeth C. Purnell. a daughter Mary A. Derickson.

Page 261a. 29 Oct. 1819. Joseph Gray left real estate to David Gray and left as his heirs David Gray, Elizabeth Gray who intermarried with Isaac Walter, Polly M. Gray who intermarried with Kendall Williams, Hetty Gray, Jenkins Gray and Sally Gray. Joseph Gray's wife's name was Sally. Eldest son David, daughters Betsy, Polly, Esther, and son Jenkins. My Brother Jesse Gray. Joseph Gray died circa 1805. a witness Joseph Johnson has since died. Isaac Walters and Elizabeth his wife are not living in the State of Maryland.

Page 273a. 4 Oct. 1822. John Aydelotte of James sued by James Taylor of John G. Taylor. John Aydelotte had children Harriett and Hannah. Johathan Cluff their guardian.

Page 279a. 3 November 1823. Littleton Hudson, your orator, son of Dennis Hudson late of Worcester County, who is a child under 21 years, by Jesse Jones his guardian one of the creditors of William Jones of Jesse. That William Jones now deceased was appointed guardian to Littleton Hudson. James, Mary, Eliza, Maria, Emelia Jones are minor children of William Jones deceased. Ann Jones widow of said William, and Handy Jones and William Jones heirs and devise of said William Jones.

292a. 16 May 1825. That Tabitha Stevenson widow of William Stevenson was previous to 3 January 1798 seized of property which descended to her from her father Elisha Evans. That she conveyed on 3 January 1798 the said land and all her interest in the same to her children Elizabeth Dereckson, Isaac Evans Map, James Map, John Stevenson, Polly, Sally, Edward Stevenson, (Sally and Edward Stevenson repeated twice) amongst them and their heirs. That Tabitha has since departed this life and that several of the heirs died during her lifetime. Isaac Evans Map died intestate leaving Elizabeth Dereckson, John, Polly, Sally, Edward Stevenson his heirs at law. John Stevenson died intestate leaving William Stevenson his heir at law. Polly Stevenson died intestate leaving William Short her heir at law. Sally Stevenson died intestate leaving James Mumford her heir at law and that your orator (Edward Stevenson) and Elizabeth Dereckson are the only survivors of said grantees. That he (Edward Stevenson) holds the lands with Elizabeth Dereckson who is about the age of 21 years, William Stevenson heir at law of John Stevenson, William Short heir of Polly Stevenson and James Mumford heir of Sally Stevenson who are minors, as tenants in common with Elizabeth Dereckson. Petition to divide land. James Stevenson guardian to William Stevenson. William Short guardian to William Short. James Mumford guardian to James Mumford. Land was divided. a survey map by Johnson Gray was included on page 298 of the original document.

Page 301a. 29 September 1826. Isaac Birddle / Burdell verses Esther Evans, Martha Evans, Eliza Evans and Henrietta Evans. That on 4 July 1816 a certain Rev. Charles Wallace purchased of Isaac I Evans, Hetty Stevenson, Polly Evans, Anlana/Andaria Evans and John Evans the farm where on Peter E. Evans and John Evans formerly lived called Mt. Pleasant and all other tracts or parts of a tract Peter Evans died seized of and that Isaac J. Evnas, Hetty Stevenson, Polly Evans, Andaria and John Evans conveyed to said Wallace. That Wallace sold said lands to Martha Franklin and that Martha devised said lands to Henry Franklin Jr. on condition he pay $3,000 balance due on purchase price. That Henry Franklin paid the $3,000 which was due to said Isaac. That Henry Franklin sold to your orator (Isaac Birdell). That Birdell is free of all obligation except bond to Isaac P. Evans who is dead leaving the following children: Esther, Martha, Eliza and Henrietta Evans his heirs at law all minors.

309a. 27 November 1822. That Nathaniel Bowen died intestate and left the following children his heirs: Joshua Bowen, William, Richard, Barnaby and Lambert Bowen a son of Isaac Bowen who was also a son of Nathaniel Bowen. Letters of administration granted to Isaac Marshall. Land near Newark.

Page 316a. 9 May 1825. Isaac Burdell / Birdell and Andaria Evans complain. That Daniel Tingle had children Nathaniel R. Tingle, William Tingle, Hetty R. Tingle who has since intermarried with Thomas Powell, Gertrude Davis wife of Robert Davis all of full age, except Thomas Powell who is a minor and Mana Tingle a minor and Daniel Tingle who has since passed away, a minor. Daniel Tingle had a wife named Catherine. His will written 12 June 1807 and probated 7 December 1819 mentions son Nathaniel Rackliffe Tingle lands I purchased of my wife's sister and other lands in Sinepuxent. Daughters Matilda, Gertrude, Elizabeth, Maria and the child my wife is now pregnant with. Son William. Friend Dr. Thomas S. Fassitt and Friend William Covington and Thomas Rackliffe.

Page 341a. 4 November 1824. William Corbin had heirs: John Corbin, a daughter named Elizabeth formerly intermarried with a certain John Waters, now a widow, Ann intermarried with a certain William L. Corbin, Jr., Harriett intermarried with a certain Littleton Bevards, and Mary who intermarried with a certain Nehemiah Holland.

Page 346a. 12 May 1820. Came William Bevans of Rowland against the estate of Joshua Sturgis late of Worcester County, a free negro, died intestate, seized of part of three tracts of land Mulberry and Hath and Rotten Quarter 57 1/2 acres. That Joshua Sturgis died without heirs of the whole or half blood and that he died owing William Beavans $14.17 current money.

Page 351a. November term 1822. John Gillett, Exparte. That by an inquisition Mary L. Davis has been found to be a lunatic and John Gillett has been appointed her trustee. That the said lunatic is the widow of Isaac P. Davis lately deceased. That she had a dower right to lands sold by her husband in his lifetime.
